Sonia L. Borges

Sonia L. Borges, age 55 of Erie Pa, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

Sonia was born in Erie, PA, on October 11, 1970, the daughter of the late Alison Dodson and Carol (Owen) Bingham. After graduating high school, Sonia went on to work at Port Erie Plastics as a Quality Control inspector. She also worked at Brevillier Village as a nurse’s aid. In her spare time, Sonia enjoyed crocheting, creating ceramics, needlepointing, and embroidery.

Sonia is Proceeded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her son Douglas R. Moore and her daughter Jessica L. Moore. Two sisters, Theresa (Jeff) Granger, and Amber Bingham. Three brothers, Douglas (Linda) Stuck, Joshua Bingham, and Jared Bingham. Along with three grandchildren.
