Salome  Roseline (Greenfield) Ross

Salome R. Ross,  who was known as “Mary” to many of her friends and family over the years, died at the age of 79 on Friday morning, September 07, 2018 at Pleasant Ridge Manor where she had been residing these past few years.

Salome was born on July 16, 1939, the daughter of the late Ernest B. and Rose A. (Colver) Greenfield in Meadville, Pa.

She worked with her husband, James D. Ross as a Janitor at the Rest Stop areas along Interstate 90.  She loved horseback riding and collecting stuffed teddy bears.  While she was residing in Pleasant Ridge, she had become attached to one very special bear. 

 Besides her parents, Salome was preceded in death by her sister, Norma Host and two brothers, Edward and Richard Greenfield. 

She is survived by her husband, James Ross of 53 years and her son, Kenneth Pearl Ross (Marjorie) of East Springfield and a brother, Dale Greenfield.  She is also survived by one Grandchild and three Great-Grandchildren.
