Nancy J. Cronin, age 74 of Meadville and Girard, Pa.  passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024 at UPMC Hamot Medical Center due to complications of a vehicle accident that took her husband, Dennis Cronin’s life also.


Nancy was born in Erie, Pa, on January 10, 1950, the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Betty J. (Lindberg) Seely.  


Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, and a follower of God.  She worked as a Personal Care In-Home Health worker and She was a member of the Real Life Assembly of God Church in Erie, where she devoted a lot of volunteer time cooking for events and church dinners.  She enjoyed cooking and was noted to even open her house and feed those who needed help when others would turn them away.  She was always reading her Bible and  she and her husband, Dennis would volunteer their time at the Fairview Food Pantry.  She also liked to travel.  She had the opportunity to travel to many countries around the world.  However, her most favorite place to visit was Alaska.   She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren play football at their games.


Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Cronin, her first husband, Doyle Little and three brothers; Edward, Alan, and Thomas Seely.


She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Shawna (Jeff) Dickson; and sons Shawn Wentling, Adam (Kayla) Wentling, Frank (Sheila) Wentling, and Jay Scott Wentling. Also, a sister, Roberta Rouse and seventeen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.


A Life Celebration Service will be held at a time to be decided later and she will be laid to rest next to her beloved, Doyle in the Girard Cemetery.  


Memorial donations may be made in Memory of Nancy to the Real Life Assembly of God Church, 3902 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16506.
