Michele Lee Steele

Michele Lee Steele, age 48 of Erie, was carried home on Angels’ wings early Thursday, September 15, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital.

 Michele was born on August 4, 1968 in Orlando, Florida, the daughter  to Ann (Manendo) Lord and the late Gary Lee Steele.  Michele was always curious about how things worked and could fix just about anything.  She was a little “Tom-Boy” and also a social butterfly.  She enjoyed her animals and quite often would bring in new stray ones to love.  She liked to collect Indian collectibles; but most of all, she enjoyed her family and doing things with them.

 Besides her father, Michele was preceded in death by her Grandmother, Goldie Cooper and a Sister, Sabrina Steele.

 She is survived by her companion, Jim and four children; Joe Steele (Sara), Chris Steele (Sarah), Mike Finchio (Steph), and Dan Steele (Steph).  Also her mother and her step-father, Ann and David Lord and a brother, Pat Steele (Lucy) all of Erie.  She is also survived by three beautiful granddaughters, Jacqueline, Ariel, and Alison Steele and a niece, Mandie Steele and many Aunts and Uncles.  

 There will be a Remembrance Celebration on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Lakeside Inn,  Waterford, Pa.
