Louise M. Olmstead

Louise M. Olmstead, age 88 of the Conneaut/Ashtabula area, passed away quietly Thursday evening, November 27, 2025 at the Saybrook Landing Nursing Center in Ashtabula, Ohio.

Louise was born in Conneautville, PA on April 14, 1937, the daughter of the late Rodney C. and Mary E. (Brubach) Beebe. She graduated from the Northwestern High School and worked for many years at the Meadville Medical Center as a Dietary Technician; which she also served as at many hospitals locally and out of state.

She enjoyed crocheting, drawing and painting pictures, word puzzles, and card games.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Beebe and her late husband, Thomas N. Olmstead on Oct. 22, 1991.

Louise is survived by six children: Christine (John) Batka, Mary (Jeff) Smith, Thomas (Linda) Olmstead, Valarie Conaway, Edward (Ammie) Olmstead, and Mark (Leigh) Olmstead. She is also survived by two sisters; Jeanie Erdman and Darlene Harwell, fourteen grandchildren, and several great and one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and Family are invited to all at the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, 11883 Main Street, East Springfield on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 11 until the time of the service at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at the Springfield Cemetery, East Springfield, Pa.
