Linda L. (Randall) Raykowski
Linda L. Raykowski, age 73, of West Springfield passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Millcreek Community Hospital following an extended illness. She was born January 23, 1948 in Erie, PA, the daughter of the late Frank and Irene Randall.
Linda was a member of Academy High School class of 1965. She enjoyed playing the lottery, trips to the casino, betting on the horses, and communicating with all her computer and Facebook “buddies.” She was a devoted animal lover and throughout her lifetime had a variety of cats and dogs that she loved and cared for including her current pets Megan, Buttons, Pepper, Sammy, Simon and Zoey.
Linda retired from Thomas Erie, Inc. in 2013. She was previously employed at WJET Radio for over 25 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Steven Waller; great-grandson, Aiden; her brother, Richard Randall and several in-laws. Survivors include her husband, Tom Raykowski, who considered her his best friend, her loving daughter, Sheila Buranich (Doug Brunner) of Cranesville; her sister, Beverly Cramer (Keith) of Erie; her brother, Ron Randall (Jayne) of Greene Township. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews and 5 of her husband’s sisters.
There will be no calling hours per Linda’s request. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Springfield Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home, East Springfield. Memorial contributions can be made to Because You Care, 6041 West Road, McKean, PA 16426.
