With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of John Raymond Rotko on April 20th, 2026 at the age of 69. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother who dedicated his life loving and providing for his family through hard work. He lived his life rooted in the community of North Springfield, Pennsylvania.

John was raised in Albion, PA by his parents, John and Anna Rotko. He was a member of Northwestern High School’s graduating class of 1974. John committed his life to his career in construction, retiring from Building Systems Inc. after 38 years of employment. He was an active member of St. Lawrence, The Martyr Parish. When possible, John enjoyed spending time working on projects around the house, traveling, and relaxing in a beach chair in the sun, next to the ocean.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Christina Rotko; his three loving children, Ashley McFall (Bob), Seth Rotko (Chelsea), and Ty Rotko (Emilee); his four cherished grandchildren, Bobby, Jillian, Piper, and Wells; his sister, Sandra Laycock (Bob); and his brother Peter Rotko (Brigitte). All of whom will carry his legacy of commitment and love forward. A small private service will be held at a future time.
