Curtis “Mark” Duncan, Jr.

Curtis M. Duncan, Jr. of West Springfield, Pa., passed away suddenly in the early morning hours of Thursday, June 8, 2023.

Mark as most people called him was born in Salineville, Ohio on November 23, 1981, the son of Curtis M. and Peggy Sue (Atkins) Duncan, Sr.

Mark enjoyed life and he was famous for training race horses, he also worked as a maintenance engineer at many motel establishments over the years.  Besides training horses, Mark was an avid hunter, fisherman, and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Travis Duncan.

Besides his parents, Mark is survived by his loving companion for the last 15 years, Julie Addessi and their daughter, Taylor Duncan.

There will be no services per the family’s request.  Arrangements are made by The Jean Evans Thompson Funeral Home in East Springfield, Pa.  Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home at P.O. Box 235, East Springfield, PA 16411 to help the family at this difficult time.
