Claude Thomas Lane

Claude T. Lane, age 61 of Erie, Pennsylvania. Died peacefully at his home late Friday afternoon, December 12, 2025.

Claude was born in Warren, Pa on March 6, 1964, the son of the late George and Blanche (Olmstead) Lane. He shared his parents with four sisters and three brothers. It was a very busy household. Throughout Claude’s life he was avid at reading his Bible and learning verses on a daily basis, he enjoyed drawing. His family calls him an artist with the articulate drawings he has made especially of people. He enjoyed watching game shows and feeding the animals.

Besides his parents, Claude is preceded in death by a nephew, Jonathan Lane.

He is survived by four sisters: Beatrice Gevin, Blanche (Robert) Nicholas, Barbara (Charles) Wilson, and Bonnie (Larry) Knapp and three brothers: George Lane, Jr., Charles (Kimberly) Lane, and Clarence M. (Dawn M.) Lane and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours for Claude at this time. A Life Celebration Service will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at the West Springfield Baptist Church,13695 W Ridge Rd, West Springfield, PA 16443 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Louis Powers, officiating.
